As a collector of old toys since a very early age (ten to be precise) I was pleased to find this little lot hidden in a shoebox in the the corner of a local charity shop.Thirty four Lesney 75's from around 1957-60 some in great almost mint condition some unfortunately tortured by their previous owner with (by the damage)possibly a hammer, foot heel and tobacco lighter!!. Their was also a Dinky Toys Telephone box circa 1958-60 and a similar aged Traffic light from the same maker. Also within the collection was a trailer that belonged to "Noddys" (Lone Star) car left behind possibly in the latter's hasty escape from the hammer waving child of a past era.
A number of duplicated toys suggests to me that possibly similar aged brothers owned the lot (two "Nestle" Commer 30 CWT Vans and two 1 Ton "Brooke Bond Tea" Trojan Vans).
